Day 1 : Arrive Paro and Drive to Thimphu, (Distance 55km,1hour20min)
If your arrival to Bhutan is on a (bright) sunny day, it could (should) begin with the panoramic view of Mount Everest and Kanchenjunga, and our very own Jomolhari and Jichu Drakey (you may change your seat, if you are not on the right side). We have been told the actual descent of the flight to the airport (Paro) is usually manual, which itself becomes a memorable experience, topped by surrounding hills and houses (Feeling you could touch them). After your arrival to Paro Airport, our team will greet and meet you, transfer to Thimphu(2,300 meter above sea level) the capital city of Bhutan. On the way visit Tachog Temple. On arrival check in at the hotel. If time permit we will visit Memorial Stupa, Evening walk in the town. Overnight at Thimphu.
Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing (2,300 metre)
After breakfast visit largest sitting Buddha Statue in the world placed in Kuensel Phodrang overlooking Thimphu valley, visit weaving center, visit Changangkha Lhakhang, visit Zorig Chusum school of 13 traditional arts/crafts. After lunch visit Takin Preserve Center and Sangaygang view point and visit Folk Heritage Museum, Towards evening if time permits visit Thimphu Dzong(Fortress) and overnight at Thimphu.
Day 3 : Thimphu to Punakha(Distance 83km 2hrs20min)
After breakfast drive towards Punakha(Ancient Capital) 1,300 metre above sea level. On the way stop at Dochula pass carpeted the pass with 108 stupa surrounded by Jigme Singye Wangchuk Himalayan range(9 Snow capped mountains). After reaching Punakha hike towards Fertility Temple( Devine Madman Temple) which is 30 minutes walk through the beautiful valley. After lunch visit Punakha Dzong and than visit Suspension Bridge(one of the longest suspension bridge in bhutan). Than overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 4 : Punakha to Trongsa(Distance 183km 4hrs 30min)
After breakfast drive towards Trongsa(centre part of Bhutan) which is 1,600 meter above sea level. On the way to Trongsa we will enjoy the beautiful scenery that take you through the beautiful passes. After reaching Trongsa we will visit Changdepji Chorten. After lunch visit Trongsa Dzong( longest fortress from 20 fortress in Bhutan). Evening check in at hotel in Trongsa.
Day 5 : Trongsa to Bumthang(Distance 79km 2hrs 50min)
After breakfast drive towards Bumthang(Central part of Bhutan) which is 2,600 meter above sea level. Many visitors has tipped, that your visit to Bhutan is not complete without a visit to Bumthang. On your approach to this district, you will be welcomed by a huge valley that stretches deep into the hills(valley of beautiful girls or valley like a shape of golden vase). Bhutan being as a religious country, locally we believe that visiting the religious sites would wash away our sins and pave our way for a better after life. So on the way we will visit National Heritage Museum(Antiques and objects of kings of Bhutan with nine galaries). On arrival we will check in at the hotel and we will ensure you have a good shower. After lunch we will visit Jakar Dzong(White Bird Fortress) and evening walk in Chamkhar Town and you can have a nice coffee or Bhutanese green tea at any restaurant as a refreshment and after tea we will walk around the town and you can do some shopping if you want anything. After everything is over we will move back to hotel and we will drop you their and you can have a first overnight at hotel in Bumthang.
Day 6 : 1st Day Bumthang Sightseeing
After breakfast we will visit one of the oldest temple called Jampa Lhakhang built by First dharma king of Tibet in 7th century. Later visit Kurjee Temple(Body imprint of second Buddha in 8th century), and Kenchosum Temple and Tamzing Temple which was built by Terton Pema Lingpa who is a disciple of Guru Padhamasambava. After the lunch visit Swiss cheese factory and beer factory(red panda beer).
Day 7 : 2nd Day Bumthang Sightseeing
On day 7 you will move towards Tang Valley and visit Mebar Tsho(burning lake) which was name after the discover of treasure by Terton Pema Lingpa, and enjoy the scenic view of Ura Valley(place of second Buddha called Ugyen), fenced by mountains. After that we will go for lunch and later we will visit Sumthrang Temple(private temple), than we will drive back to hotel and have a overnight at hotel.
Day 8 : Bumthang to Phobjikha(Distance 163km 5hrs 40mins)
After breakfast we will proceed towards Phobjikha(Next Swizerland) most beautiful valley, which is 2,900 meter above sea level. It is a place visited by heavenly bird called Black Necked Crane all the way from Tibet. if time permits we will visit Crane Center and we will have a overnight at Phobjikha.
Day 9 : Phobjikha to Paro(Distance 175km 5hrs)
After breakfast we will hike Gantay Nature Trail and on the way we will enjoy the valley and also visit the Gantay Monastery. Than we will go for lunch and after lunch drive back to paro. overnight at paro.
Day 10 : Paro to Haa(Distance 63km 2hrs 30mins)
After breakfast you will be warm welcomed by guide and drive towards Haa valley(2,700 meters) above the sea level, On the way we will stop at Chelela Pass the highest motor road which is 3,988 meter above sea level, From their we can able to view the second highest mountain of Bhutan. After that we will move towards the Haa valley and will have a lunch, After lunch we will visit Lhakhang Karpo( White Temple). After sightseeing will check in hotel and will overnight at Haa.
DAY 11 : Haa to Paro
On day 11 will drive back to Paro, On the way will visit Zangdopelri(Paradise of Guru Padhamasambhava) with a unique architecture. After lunch visit Paro Dzong or Museum. If time permits evening walk in the town, Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 12 : Paro Sightseeing Farewell
After breakfast we will hike towards Taktsang(Tiger’s Nest) the icon of Bhutan perched on middle of the cliff with amazing landscape. On your return from hike, if time permits visit Kichu Monastery the oldest temple in Bhutan.
Day 13 : Farewell
